Long-term embodied research

2020–ongoing

MOUM: The Living Archive

MOUM: The Living Archive is Soojin Pray’s long-term embodied research into Korean body-cosmology, breath, movement, qi, meridian knowledge, seasonal rhythm, and everyday ritual. Historical knowledge is rewritten through the artist’s own body, research notebooks, and sustained practice.

The body as a living archive: an umbrella inquiry into Eastern understandings of the body, unfolding through the series Body Memory and Body Record.

It is an evolving artistic and research project rather than a fixed moving-image work.
